We are trying to enjoy the weather as much as possible before it gets too cold. We've been park hopping lately. Trying to find an easily accessible, awesome park for both kids & friends. Today we visited the Ellendale Park & loved it. It was gorgeous with all the trees & the fall leaves. Conner is obsessed with leaves. As soon as he finds a leaf outside, he has to carry it around. No matter what else he wants to hold or pick up, the leaf stays in his hand. Sometimes, rocks & sticks will do. But if he's fussy in the stroller, hand him a couple leaves!

We are finishing up our Kindermusik semester. Conner really enjoys this time each week. He's a dance-a-holic! I'm not sure that we will do it again because of the age difference. Kylie has a hard time paying attention with all the baby-focused activities & songs. But they both love to dance to the CD's at home.Conner is a talker. Kylie was always trying to talk but Conner is right there with her if not a little ahead of her talking. He's put together his 1st 2 sentences. #1: poo poo shoo shoo (oh, this one makes a daddy proud!) #2: UHN, DADA (he got mad that Curtis thought teeth brushing time was over, yanked the toothbrush out of Curtis' hands & in doing so, stabbed Curtis in the face with it.) I love new baby's communicating. Conner is cutting a molar & woke up at 4am. I picked him up & was digging around for the orajel & he said "teef" (teeth). So smart :) Then while I was rocking him (which he NEVER lets me do) he sat up & said "baba" So I asked if he wanted milk or water & he signed "milk".
Kylie is full of questions. Usually ones I can't answer. Or my answer isn't good enough for her. For example, "why is she driving a red car?" "Why is it called Rafferty's?" "Did Santa or Jesus make Rafferty's?"
I'm sure I've mentioned this before but I absolutely love watching them play together. Kylie, of course, is the boss but Conner usually plays along great.
